Questions buyers ask
Can stainless bolts go on aluminium solar rails?
Yes. Stainless bolts on aluminium profiles are the standard combination, because the small fastener is the more noble metal. Galvanic corrosion needs moisture between the metals, and a coating or anodised layer stops it.
Where do roof fixings go on mabati or box-profile sheet?
Through the crest, to keep the roof watertight: drive each screw square to the sheet in the centre of the rib, no closer than 25 mm to the sheet end, and do not over-tighten.
Which cable ties last outdoors?
UV-stabilised black ties, made of nylon 6.6 with about 2% carbon black. Ordinary black ties are not protected for long-term sun.
How are ground-mounted frames fixed to concrete footings?
With bolt anchors drilled into the cured footing or resin anchors with threaded rod; the frame designer sets the size. Send the drawing and we quote the anchors to match.
What do stainless bolts for solar cost in Kenya?
Prices come on a quote. Send the items, sizes and quantities on WhatsApp or through the website and the sales team replies with a priced quote you can accept online.
Do you supply installers outside Nairobi?
Yes. Upcountry orders travel by parcel service to your nearest depot, and stocked items confirmed before 2:00 pm dispatch the same working day.
