FAQ

Questions buyers ask

When should wheel nuts be re-torqued?

Re-check and re-torque to the same value after about 50 km. Locking wheel nuts do not remove this step, because settling elsewhere in the wheel can reduce the clamp load.

What torque does a truck wheel nut need?

Always use the vehicle or axle maker's figure and tighten in a star pattern with a calibrated wrench. For reference, Nord-Lock lists 650 Nm for its class 10 M22 x 1.5 wheel nut.

Do Nord-Lock wheel nuts fit every wheel?

They are made for flat-faced steel rims from M16 to M24, on buses, trucks, trailers and farm and mining machines, and must be fitted to all the wheel studs, not just a few.

What is the difference between UNC and UNF bolts?

Both are inch threads of the same diameter; UNF has more threads per inch. The finer thread resists vibration and allows finer adjustment, which is why it is common on vehicles.

What do wheel nuts and bolts cost in Kenya?

Prices come on a quote. Send the items, sizes and quantities on WhatsApp or through the website and the sales team replies with a priced quote you can accept online.

Can a fleet reorder the same parts list?

Yes. Sign in and save the list after your first order, then reorder it in one step, or send the same list on WhatsApp and we quote it again.
